How odd and silly can two children be?
Every other night, they chatter away, giggling when they are supposed to be falling asleep. I don’t know what they are giggling about (pancakes? snow boots? how much water they drank while competitively tooth brushing? the “you come back here” game? I have no clue.), but eventually (or eeeevvveeennnnttttuuuaaalllyyy) it leads to sleep.
Then I find them like this, those crazy kids. That would be six babies between them. (That is, six babies until one falls out of bed, thumps onto the hardwood floor, and awaits the others to fall throughout the night.)
Who could sleep like that?!?
Thump. Bump. Bonk. Zonk. Crash. Zzzzz.

These pictures are so precious!!!
This approach seems to really work — I may have to try it!
On a related note, it must be so delightful to hear the girls as they chatter away before eeevvveeennntttuuuaaalllyyy falling asleep.
They are so cute, and so are you!
Kids always look so adorable when they’re asleep don’t they, and when you look at them you wonder how you could ever get cross or irritable with them! You soon remember why when they wake up though…
Doesn’t matter how it gets done as long as they SLEEP! AMIRIGHT?
SO CUTE. It looks like it works for adults, too. Guess I’m going to have to buy some dolls…
Brilliant, my two year woke up in the middle of the night crying for his dolly, he doesn’t have a dolly and never has. You’re right, they’re crazy kids
